Dr Safa Al-Shafi works in our Annerley and Stafford orthodontic practices.
Dr Safa is a qualified Orthodontist who works in our
Annerley and Stafford practices.
Dr Safa received her dentistry degree from Griffith University having
accumulated multiple awards including the Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology Prize
and Griffith Award for Academic Excellence.
She subsequently completed the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons
primary exams and was awarded commendations on outstanding performance in all
six subjects. After a period of practising general dentistry on the Gold Coast, Safa
completed the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics degree at the University of Sydney.
During her training, she completed clinical research on accelerated tooth movement.
She is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Orthodontists and American Association of Orthodontists.
Safa prides herself on being a friendly and empathetic orthodontist who is passionate about her work and providing the highest quality of care for her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, being outdoors or baking delicious treats for her family and friends.
